1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder
2 (15 ounce) cans pinto beans, should be drained
2 tablespoons of chopped fresh cilantro
1 small tomato properly chopped
1 cup Pace Picante Sauce
2 cups of shredded Cheddar cheese
7 (8 inch) flour tortillas
Black beans drained 1 (15 ounce).
Steps:
First of all mash the pinto beans, properly stir it in garlic and 3/4 cup picante sauce.
Secondly mix the rest of picante sauce,tomato, black beans and cilantro,.
Now take one tortilla on baking sheet, over tortilla spread 3/4 cup pinto bean mixture, with in 1/2-inch of edge, then top it with 1/4 cup cheese.
For making layers top 2/3 cup black bean mixture with 1 tortilla, then cheese. Repeat the process twice.
After that top with rest of the tortilla and then spread pinto bean mixture.
Now cover with foil.
Lastly bake it at 400 degrees F for 40 minute, top cheese over it make wedges if you desire you can add and serve picante sauce and if needed sprinkle with additional cilantro.
Very delicious and yummy 7 Layer meatless tortilla pie is ready to eat.
