7 Layer meatless tortilla pie

Very tempting and tasty yes it is 7 Layer meatless tortilla pie, is for your ultimate delight . Following the procedure you can serve 6 people, all you need to have :

1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder
2 (15 ounce) cans pinto beans, should be drained
2 tablespoons of chopped fresh cilantro
1 small tomato properly chopped
1 cup Pace Picante Sauce
2 cups of shredded Cheddar cheese
7 (8 inch) flour tortillas
Black beans drained 1 (15 ounce).

Tortilla Pie

Steps:
First of all mash the pinto beans, properly stir it in garlic and 3/4 cup picante sauce.
Secondly mix the rest of picante sauce,tomato, black beans and cilantro,.
Now take one tortilla on baking sheet, over tortilla spread 3/4 cup pinto bean mixture, with in 1/2-inch of edge, then top it with 1/4 cup cheese.
For making layers top 2/3 cup black bean mixture with 1 tortilla, then cheese. Repeat the process twice.
After that top with rest of the tortilla and then spread pinto bean mixture.
Now cover with foil.
Lastly bake it at 400 degrees F for 40 minute, top cheese over it make wedges if you desire you can add and serve picante sauce and if needed sprinkle with additional cilantro.
Very delicious and yummy 7 Layer meatless tortilla pie is ready to eat.

Cheese Enchilada Recipe

For tempting Cheese Enchilada Recipe the ingredients are :

3 Tablespoons of Chili Powder
1/8 teaspoon Red Pepper
3 Cups Chicken Broth (OR 3 Cups of Water)
3/4 teaspoon of Garlic Powder
1 1/2 teaspoon Ground Cumin Powder
1 1/2 of teaspoon Salt
4 Tablespoons of Flour
4 Tablespoons of Corn Oil
1 onion
Cheddar Cheese
Velveeta
Corn Tortillas.

For Enchilada you need :

Frying Pan
Measuring Cups
Large, or Medium size pan
Measuring Spoons
Spatula, or tongs for frying tortillas
Cheese Grater
Spoon

Cheese Enchilada

Now you need to prepare Enchilada sauce put the sauce pan on burner and mix-1 1/2 teaspoon Cumin Powder, 4 Tablespoons Corn Oil, 3 Tablespoons Chili Powder, 6 Tablespoons Flour, 3/4 teaspoon Garlic Powder and 1/8 teaspoon Red Pepper, with 1/2 teaspoon Sal, let it get cooked and stirr it for one minute. No add three cups of water keep stirring until it becomes thick, keep sauce warm. No make Soft frying tortillas, put 1/4th of an inch of corn oil, make the flame high after that properly place corn tortillasin hot oil. Let it get cooked for five seconds, cook other side.

Noe grate cheese you need to mix cheddar cheese along with one cup of grated Velveeta, then chop onion. Now make sure that Enchilada sauce is well mixed, then take one of the soft fried tortillas and dip. Sprinkle 1/4 cup of cheese, with tablespoon of onion, roll it up and place them on serving plate.

Add more spoonfuls of Enchilada, u can add more cheese and onion.

Homemade Flour Tortillas

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups water
2 tbsp lard
4 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder


Homemade Flour Tortillas

Preparation:

After whisking the flour, salt, and baking powder altogether in a mixing bowl, mix in the lard with your fingers until the flour resembles cornmeal. Now add the water and mix until the dough comes together.

Place on a lightly floured surface and knead a few minutes until becomes smooth. Now divide the dough into 24 equal pieces and roll each piece into a ball.

Next step is that preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat. With the help of a well-floured rolling pin to roll a dough ball into a thin, round tortilla.

Place into the hot skillet, and cook until it turns golden. Flip and continue cooking until puffs a bit and turns golden brown from both the sides. Likewise cook the rest of the tortillas. After the tortillas have cooled completely, store them in a plastic bag. Your Mexican homemade flour tortilla is ready to relish.
